The course covers the technical aspects of the various zoning applications and appeals, such as variances, special exceptions and nonconforming uses, and the requirements for zoning hearings. Issues of fairness, compliance, and ordinanace enforcement are included. The techniques and procedures for conducting fair and effective zoning hearings are practiced in a mock zoning hearing.
