Every three days in the US, a worker is hit and killed by one of their own pieces of equipment. This one hour webinar will review road crew safety principles from three perspectives. The first is proper work zone set-ups, the second is safe driving techniques, and the third is worksite/yard activities. For each area, we will discuss proper safety apparel, rules/guidelines to follow, and safe practices. Additional information is available through LTAP classes on Work Zones, Safe Driving, and Equipment/Worker Safety. Pat Wright, traffic engineer with LTAP will be the presenter.
